my liverpool!!!!!

Liverpool, is a metro politician city in the north west en gland, UK but when we hear the word “LIVERPOOL,the place or the scenic beauty doesn't strike our mind, what strikes is “The LIVERPOOL football club”, the elegant liver bird with its flaming red wings.

Its about an year ago when at every match just 4 pair of eyes used to stare at the small screen box shouting, encouraging and supporting the 11 man in their red attire making history. Now after an year 100's of us come together to watch the __ inch LCD screen becoming one and a family chanting the anthem creating the atmosphere of the Anfield.,

We are not in the suburb of England, we stay in a place way far off from the birth place of LFC, not even in Delhi which is the home of LFC football Academy in India but we support the REDs we support our club. Liverpool Pune supporters Club isn't an association that made for a namesake and kept inside glassed windows for show, it is an active club with us, the members organizing screenings and holding competitions every now and then.

Last season the club was officially started with 4 members and now after an year we have formed a cluster “ The RED Family”. Back then though the club was at its initial stage we screened 5 games out of which some were against the top four clubs.

The environment during the game is so lively that one could feel the spirit, the energy with which the players perform, the agony of a missed shot, the joy of achieving the goal, fighting over related issues and finally after 90 minutes of emotional turmoil, the moment arrives when everyone with watery lids and heavy heart hugs one another as the wonder cup is in the hands of LIVERPOOL. A moment of immense happiness where one can feel the passion and craziness of the supporters.

We have an active Facebook page with more than 500 supporters who are passionate and crazy accepting with pride that we are the REDs The Dynamites. Our fb page is organized and always up to date with our members and admins playing an active part in it. We have divided our work into sections so that one doesn't feel over burdened with all the work. One of us looks upon the posts related to newspapers and he/she never fails the fan followers in providing the latest and current news regarding the game. Another one of us sees that our supporters know which players is in the team and who has left it for good, as to say every updates regarding the transfer of players and one of us manages the daily post and videos on the page.

Along with this we even have our FB page “I love, life, (live)pool” where competitions are being held and official Liverpool prizes are given.

Though pune has various football clubs regarding other teams but ours is the one and only club that has been active since its start till date. Infact we are even getting into discussion for opening our official website. If we see through the actual scenerio the only place liverpool has its active fan pals in india then its delhi and mumbai. Pune donot have such hub for it but instead of this we are spreading our LIVERBIRD beyond the localities of pune and dreaming of becoming one big happy LIVERPOOL family.
