You can reach Tamhini ghat either from Mumbai or Pune. It would be around 150 km from Mumbai and 90km from Pune. The nearest railway station and airport would be in Pune as the place is not connected with any rail road. Hire a cab from Mumbai or Pune and go to this place during one hot summer weekend. There are also resorts around the area if you would like to get away from the urban life and be one with the nature for a day.
